With the landfill in West Sunbury closing, there is more information about the future of that location.
According to county officials, the Waste Management-owned landfill will be capped in the future.
Waste Management will continue to own the property and will be using it as a transfer site.
The county also approved 15 different landfills that municipal waste haulers can utilize for at least 10 years.
