A West Sunbury man is facing charges for allegedly chasing someone with a chainsaw.
The incident happened in late August at a home on Halston Road in Cherry Township.
Police received a call for a domestic incident in progress. Police learned that 28-year-old Thomas Scherder was chasing the victim around with a chainsaw.
Police took Scherder into custody and he was placed in the Butler County Prison.
