Penn State has dismissed two players from their team for violation of team rules. The players include junior linebacker Manny Bowen, who started nine games this season and had 51 tackles. Penn State also dismissed Irvin Charles, a wide receiver and return specialist. The Nittany Lions meet Washington in the Fiesta Bowl Friday.

–Iowa and Boston College meet in the Pinstripe Bowl at Yankee Stadium.
–Missouri and Texas play in the Texas Bowl in Houston.
–Arizona faces Purdue in the Foster Farms Bowl in California.
