The National Weather Service is issuing a wind advisory for the day.
The wind will be steady out of the west at about 15 to 30 miles per hour, and could gust as high as 50 miles per hour at times.
The National Weather Service says tree limbs could be blown down and there could also be the possibility for power outages.
The wind advisory will remain in effect through 1 a.m.
