As another winter storm approaches Butler County those planning on driving home shouldn’t be concerned with similar conditions from last week.
Last Friday, a snow squall moved into the area causing road closures and major traffic delays. The snow moving into the area today into tomorrow morning will not be as impactful.
“It’s not the same kind of setup as last week. We’re not going to see the real rapid, high rate of snowfall that causes all your traffic jams on I-80 and such,” Mike Kennedy, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service, said.
Kennedy did say the county will see around two to three inches of snow from Friday night into Saturday morning.
