Governor Tom Wolf is throwing his support for making cocktails-to-go permanent.
Wolf said that since the pandemic emergency order is over, cocktails-to-go are no longer allowed.
He urged the state Senate to finalize a bill that would make the takeout option permanent, and that he would sign the bill once it reaches his desk.
But, there is a hang up between the legislature and the Wolf administration. Republicans inserted provisions into a bill that would allow retailers to sell canned mixed drinks. Wolf said he would veto that bill.
