As COVID cases continue to rise in the state, Governor Tom Wolf is continuing his push to get people vaccinated.
The state saw more than 12,000 new cases over the last three days and there are now more than 2,300 people hospitalized.
Wolf says getting people vaccinated is still the primary tool in fighting COVID.
“Getting vaccinated is how we end this pandemic. My administration will continue work with trusted community to make vaccines easily accessible for people who need them,” Wolf said.
According to Department of Health data, around 68 percent of state residents 18 and older are fully vaccinated.
“It’s time to get protected, not just for yourself but for the people in your community, in your family who can’t. That includes every child under 12,” Wolf said.
