A Butler woman is facing charges after being accused of assaulting staff at Butler Memorial Hospital.
On Tuesday just before 6 p.m. police were called to Butler Memorial Hospital for a patient that allegedly assaulted staff.
When officers arrived on scene the victim accused 18-year-old Saherra Durham of biting and slapping them in the face while they attempted to provide care.
The victim suffered facial injuries from the incident.
Durham has been charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, and harassment and placed in the Butler County Prison as she awaits a preliminary hearing.
