A woman involved in a head-on collision on Route 38 earlier this month has died.
20-year-old Sara Brown of Butler died of her injuries that she sustained in an accident back in the early morning hours of August 16th.
Police say the accident happened when the vehicle Brown was in went off the road and hit an embankment. It then came to rest in the opposite lane and was hit by a tractor trailer.
Brown was one of four people in the vehicle at the time of the crash. All four were flown to a Pittsburgh trauma center.
The other three people involved in the crash included 20-year-old Clayton Snow of Butler, 18-year-old Benjamin Claypoole of Emlenton, and an unnamed 13-year-old boy.
The crash shut down Route 38 for hours.
