A woman is facing charges after she allegedly was driving under the influence with a young child in the car.
State police say they were called to the 100 block of Brian Drive in Jefferson Township last Friday after they received a report for an intoxicated woman smashing items inside the home.
Before police got on scene, they say 32-year-old Natalie Perschke of Saxonburg left the home and got into her car with a 15-month old child inside.
Perschke allegedly crashed into a stop sign and then fled the scene.
Police say as they were taking Perschke into custody, she also assaulted a trooper.
She is facing numerous charges.
