
One woman was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital after a fire this morning at an apartment in Oakland Township.
The fire broke out around 2:30 a.m. at an apartment above the Readers’ Paradise store in the 200 block of Oneida Valley Road.
When crews got on scene they found a house fully engulfed in flames.
There was one woman who was able to get out of the home, however she was injured and flown to a Pittsburgh hospital. Dispatchers say she suffered serious burn injuries.
Crews were able to get the flames knocked down and under control within an hour.
