A 45-year old woman from Irwin was seriously injured Saturday at McConnell’s Mill State Park.
While rock-climbing with friends, the woman fell 15 feet into a crevice, striking her head.
It took first responders some time to safely rescue the woman, who was then flown by helicopter to a Pittsburgh hospital.
No updated report on her condition was immediately available.
