A woman pled guilty to driving under the influence in a fatal accident two years ago in Franklin Township.
Kassandra Clyde was in a Butler County Courtroom earlier this week, where she pleaded guilty to driving drunk, and hitting and killing Jim Barge on Route 422 in May 2023.
Clyde’s blood alcohol level was three times the legal limit.
Barge was set to retire from the Butler Eagle in two weeks prior to his death.
Clyde will be sentenced in August.
