Work is set to begin soon on a portion of Meridian Road which was impacted by a landslide nearly two years ago.
PennDOT officials say they are expecting to start work later this month to repair the stretch of Meridian Road in between Smith Road and Railroad Street.
That stretch of road has been either operating as one lane or completely closed since rainy weather in May 2022 caused a landslide.
Officials say they will try to keep it open for the project, but expect it to close for about 30 days later this spring.
PennDOT also said they will have more details on the project once the start date is confirmed.
