The Butler Golden Tornado advanced to the 6A boys quarterfinals last night with a 57-48 win over Connellsville. Butler junior Ethan Morton led the Golden Tornado with 18 points. Mattix Clement hit five three pointers to finish with 15. Butler will take on Upper St. Clair Saturday…the time and location have yet to be determined.
Seneca Valley’s season came to an end last night as they fell to Fox Chapel 58-45.
Tonight– the Knoch Knights take on South Park in the first round of the boys 4A WPIAL playoffs. Tip off is at 8:00 at Fox Chapel High School. WISR 680 AM will bring you the action with Scott Briggs on the call. The Knights were winners of the 4A Section 1 title this year.
