A new doctor will join local medical facilities as part of WVU Medicine.
Dr. Robert McHugh is the newest board-certified family medicine member of Butler Memorial Hospital. He earned his medical degree from Temple University before completing a family medicine residency at Allegheny Health Network’s Forbes Hospital.
During his residency, McHugh served as an inpatient and outpatient physician with AHN, caring for patients in hospital and urgent care settings, and assisting in training resident physicians and physician assistants with a focus on preventive care, acute and chronic disease management, pediatric and women’s care, and medical education.
McHugh will see patients at Butler Family Medicine on East Jefferson Street as well as Primary Care Chicora.
