Local residents are invited support the Butler YMCA this weekend while the Cranberry YMCA hosts a seasonal gathering.
On Saturday the YMCA on North Washington Street is holding a “Day of Giving” from 7 to 10:30 a.m. NexTier will match the first $10,000 of donations given during this campaign. For a $50 donation, visitors can participate in a variety of workouts or give $200 to send a kid to camp.
Also on Saturday, the Rose E. Schnieder Family YMCA in Cranberry welcomes families to attend a new Easter celebration called Jammies and Jesus. From 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. PJ-clad families can watch a special video showing the Easter story as well as munch on tasty snacks, work on fun crafts, and take photos with the Easter Bunny. Registration is required through the YMCA website.
