It was a tight finish in the race for Butler County Coroner.
With all three candidates only filing as Republicans, Korynne Young secured victory and the only spot on this fall’s ballot.
She edged Deputy Coroner John Hanovick by about 470 votes with Braden Fox about 2,000 votes behind.
Just over 1,000 Democrat write-in votes were cast in this race.
