A Zelienople man is facing charges after being accused of committing contractor fraud in Center Township.
On January 15, the victim told police he paid 24-year-old Tyler Snyder $24,000 to complete work at their home on the 200 block of Jill Drive.
The victim claims they made three payments but the work was never finished so they requested their money back from Snyder.
When police spoke with Snyder, he provided a contract but the signature did not match the victim’s signature.
Snyder was charged with home improvement fraud and tampering with records and was released on the condition he returns for further court proceedings.
A preliminary hearing has been set for March 31st.
