Zelienople officials say a major project to help curb flooding impacts in the borough is now done.
Late last week, members of the Regional Lower Connoquenessing Watershed group were on Linden Street to celebrate a ribbon cutting ceremony for a new culvert pipe.
The former pipe was undersized and causing issues for the borough.
Work for the $110,000 project started earlier this year and was officially completed this month.
Borough officials say this project is a significant step in minimizing flooding in Zelienople.
