A vote is scheduled for Monday night in Zelienople that would determine whether or not you can have alcohol in public areas.
The proposal would see all alcohol banned from public streets, sidewalks, and park areas.
Critics of the proposal say residents enjoy having a drink on a summer night while supporting local businesses.
The only exception under the ordinance is for events.
