A grant will go toward a design plan for work at the Route 68/19 connector project in Zelienople.
The borough was awarded $213,000 in state grant funding that will help create a plan to improve the Route 68 and Route 19 intersection in downtown Zelienople.
State Senator Elder Vogel says the grant will help with a project to make traffic safer in the area, along with decreasing the congestion.
State Representative Stephenie Scialabba also helped in securing grant funding.
