19 Butler County Community College student-athletes have been named to the Western Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference spring sports all-academic team. The list includes Aslyn Pry who led the nation’s Division III Junior College Athletic Association in rebounding. She attained national high honors in the spring and fall playing basketball and volleyball for the Lady Pioneers. Liam Kosior joins Pry on the high honors list in the fall and spring as well as a member of the BC3 golf team that went to the national championship tournament.
To be eligible for sports all-academic recognition, student-athletes must complete a minimum of 12 credit hours with grade-point averages between 3.0 and 3.49, with those with GPA’s of 3.5 to 4.0 receiving high honors. 10 of the 19 BC3 recipients had high honors.
