Less than a week after announcing they would be resuming classes, the Butler Area School District has changed course and will continue with remote learning.
In an email to parents Friday night, Superintendent Dr. Brian White said the district has experienced “tremendous staffing challenges.”
White also said he’s talked with Butler Health System officials that recommended the district remain in remote instruction until after the winter break.
White said this week will be all remote learning, and that he’ll revisit the decision at the end of the week.
