A PennDOT project will result in a partial highway closure for several hours Tuesday.
Short-term single lane closures are planned on interstate 79 northbound from mile marker 81.4 to 80.5 starting at approximately 7 a.m. and continuing until around 3 p.m. weather permitting.
A construction company will be moving traffic from a temporary bridge to a new bridge that carries I-79 North over North Boundary Road.
Motorists are urged to slow down and use caution in work zones. Also, drivers can check the most recent road conditions using PennDOT’s 511PA website or smart phone app.
