Police believe a driver was under the influence in an accident that happened yesterday in Clinton Township.
The one vehicle crash happened around 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of Spring Valley Road and Victory Road.
Police didn’t reveal the identity of the driver, but say the person failed to stop at a stop sign and then drove off the road about 50 feet before hitting a tree.
No one was injured, but police charged the person with driving under the influence of alcohol or controlled substance.
