State Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine says more healthcare workers are getting the COVID-19 vaccine.
She said that more than 41,000 healthcare workers have been vaccinated so far.
“We are encouraged as hospitals continue to administer more vaccine,” Levine said. “And there is more vaccine available now with the addition of the Moderna vaccine, which is flowing this week.”
Meanwhile at Butler Health System, they also have a limited quantity of the Pfizer vaccine remaining after for accounting for all healthcare workers so vaccine is being offered to local first line responders including EMS, police, and firefighters.
