There were 215 new COVID-19 cases and eight additional deaths for Butler County today.
That now means the county has surpassed 10,000 total cases since the beginning of the pandemic according to the Department of Health. The death toll now is up to 216.
As of Wednesday morning, Butler Memorial Hospital was treating 59 patients for the coronavirus, with 12 COVID patients in the ICU. Butler Health System also reported two additional deaths to the DOH over the past two days.
Statewide, there were 9,471 new cases in Pennsylvania and 368 additional deaths.
Hospitalizations across the state slightly increased to 5,684.
