Cases of the flu continue to be low this year according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
So far the state has had just over 1,300 confirmed cases of the flu, which is significantly lower than last year, which hovered around 8,000 at this point.
State health officials say the flu and COVID-19 have similar symptoms and they encourage everyone who is eligible to get a flu shot.
County-by-county data was not immediately available on the Department of Health’s website.
