There were 58 new cases of COVID-19 and no additional deaths for Butler County on Monday.
This comes after a weekend report that saw 260 new cases and 11 additional deaths. Currently, the death toll for the county due to COVID-19 is 289.
As of Monday morning, Butler Memorial Hospital was treating 31 patients for the corvonavirus, with five COVID patients in the ICU. That’s an increase of four patients over the weekend. Butler Health System also reported two deaths over the weekend.
Statewide, the death toll increased to 19,390 according to the Department of Health. But, hospitalizations continue to decline in Pennsylvania, with 4,582 receiving treatment for COVID-19.
