Data shows many residents of Butler Township continued to take advantage of a perk included with trash service – recycling of electronics and hazardous household waste.
Butler Township looked back on the second full year of collection following an agreement with Waste Management.
According to data supplied Monday to the board, over 25 tons of hazardous household and e-waste was collected from residents during 2020- including over 4,000 pounds of computer related equipment, nearly 8,000 pounds of paint, and nearly 17 tons of TVs.
Butler Township residents with questions about the process of disposing of items like these should contact Waste Management or the Township for more information.
