A Butler City woman has been charged after she allegedly helped hide a wanted man from police.
On June 5, State Police were assisting probation officers at a home in the 400 block of North Sixth Avenue for 34-year-old Raheem Robinson.
Robinson had previous pled guilty to gun charges in 2018 and a warrant was out for his arrest.
According to charging documents, when police arrived 29-year-old Mackenzie Peters answered the door and told police that Robinson was not at the home.
The police then completed a search of the home and found Robinson in the basement. He was taken into custody and placed in the Butler County Prison.
Peters was charged with hindering apprehension, she is awaiting a preliminary hearing.
Peters was also charged in 2017 following the death of her four-year-old son Bentley Miller.
