A local EMT involved with a youth football program and employed by Quality EMS as an EMT was arrested for an alleged indecent assault first reported to police August 24th. Following forensic interviews with multiple juvenile victims at the Butler County Children’s Advocacy Center, the Pennsylvania State Police Butler Barracks arrested 51-year-old Nathan Workmen Mitchell for Sexual Assault by Sports Official, Indecent Assault Without Consent of Other, Indecent Assault Person Substantially Impaired, Indecent assault Person Less Than 13 Years of Age, Corruption of Minors and Endangering the Welfare of Children. This continues to be an ongoing investigation. Workmen was a local EMT involved with a youth football program and was employed by Quality EMS.
According to our news partners at WPXI court records show Nathan Mitchell, then known as Joshua Workmen, pleaded “no contest” to misdemeanor child molestation in California in 2008. Court documents show he got his case dismissed in 2011 and then petitioned for a certificate of rehabilitation and pardon in 2020. He also went through proceedings to change his name to Nathan Mitchell.
