Cross Country:
–The Butler boys cross country team captured their section championship with a 27-28 win over North Allegheny in a tri-meet with Shaler. The Golden Tornado improved to 8-0. Brendan Eicher was the race winner.
–The Butler girls finished runner-up in their section, falling to North Allegheny but topping Shaler Tuesday. Macie McLister was the runner-up. The Butler girls are 7-1,
–The Seneca Valley boys and girls swept Mars. The Raider boys also defeated Central Catholic, while the girls defeated Oakland Catholic. Both teams improved to 5-2
