Both of the North Catholic basketball teams had their season’s end in the state quarterfinals over the weekend. The North Catholic girls lost 59-37 Saturday to Blackhawk. The North Catholic boys lost Friday night to Carver Engineering and Science 68-61. Carver will meet Obama Academy in the semifinals tonight. Obama ousted Deer Lakes 53-41 Friday.
At the PIAA swimming & diving championships over the weekend, Knoch’s Aiden Lavorini medaled in the 200 Individual Medley event by finishing third overall. His bronze medal time was 1:54.78.
