In the NHL last night: The New York Islanders lost to the Ottawa Senators 3-2. The Islanders have now been passed in the Metropolitan Division standings by the Columbus Blue Jackets, who defeated the New York Rangers 6-3. Columbus is tied with 83 points with the Islanders, but would win the tie-breaker as of today. Both teams are one point behind the Penguins. They would both be one point out of a potential Wild Card spot as well.
