The Pittsburgh Penguins host the Colorado Avalanche tonight for a 7pm face-off at PPG Paints Arena. Pre-game on WISR begins at 6:30pm.
The Penguins continue their quest for a playoff spot with 12 games remaining in their regular season. They currently hold second place in the Metropolitan Division, which is a playoff spot, by one point over Columbus and the New York Islanders.
After falling to first-place Carolina Sunday, the Pens host the best team in hockey tonight. Colorado has already clinched a playoff spot.
