The Butler County Community College golfers look to defend their Region 20 crown beginning Friday morning. Their season-opener is against CCAC, Penn Highlands and Westmoreland County Community College at North Park Golf Course in Allison Park. Three men’s golfers return from the Region 20 title team from 2025 – Mitchell Covert, Jaxson Salata and Parker Worsley. Covert is a Lincoln high school graduate in Ellwood City. Salata and Worsley are Butler high school graduates.
Also returning to the BC3 program is All-American Taylor Voloch. Voloch is the fourth woman to play for BC3 in head coach Bill Miller’s 23-year tenure and as the first to compete in the four-year old women’s national championship tournament. The Moniteau graduate placed 14th overall as a freshman.
