The Butler Golden Tornado boys Track & Field team won the Tri-State Track Invitational Saturday at West Mifflin. The Golden Tornado totaled 112 points. Moon was the runner-up with 80 points. Norwin finished third with 52 points. Butler won two of the three Relay events, including the 4×800 Relay, which posted the top time in the state. Individual winners were Carter Ekas in the 200 and 400-meter runs. His brother Logan won the 100-meter sprint and Nicco Baggetta won the Javelin.
Butler will host their Invitational this weekend.
