North Catholic senior Jason Fredericks was named to the Pennsylvania Sports Writers All-State Class 4A First team, as they unveiled their selections finally yesterday. Deer Lakes junior Evan Moore was named to the Class 4A Third Team.
No WPIAL player made the Class 6A first team for the fourth consecutive year. The last player to be selected in the state’s top classification was Devin Carney of Butler in 2022.
