There is still time for local communities to register for a program to capitalize on creative assets while strengthening economies.
The Pennsylvania Council on the Arts has launched the Pennsylvania Creative Districts Program with up to $50,000 per year for five years available but a one-to-one match is required.
Funding can be used to support district management, programming, public art, community engagement, and creative business development. Eligible applicants must be Pennsylvania‑based 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(6) organizations, or units of local government.
Those interested in pursuing Creative District designation must first submit an online letter of intent to apply by 5 p.m. this Friday.
