A Butler City woman is facing charges after being accused of damaging a vehicle with a metal bat and then attacking the victim this weekend.
On Saturday officers were called to the 400 block of Eau Claire Street for an allegedly intoxicated woman damaging a vehicle with a metal baseball bat.
According to charging documents, 54-year-old Michelle Gibson broke a roof window and left several dents on the vehicle. The victim was able to take the bat away from Gibson but was then attacked by Gibson while inspecting damage on the vehicle.
Gibson was charged with aggravated assault, criminal mischief, a drug possession charge, and public drunkenness.
She’s awaiting a preliminary hearing.
