Joey Logano ended a winless drought dating back to May of 2025 by earning his first victory of the season last night at North Wilkesboro Speedway. Logano led 323 of the 450 laps in winning his 38th career Cup Series race. Denny Hamlin was the runner-up, followed by teammate Chase Briscoe. The start of the race was delayed by rain. The race was the first Cup Series points race in 30 years at the track.
The 36-year old Logano extended his streak of winning at least one race to 15 consecutive seasons, the longest streak among active drivers. The late Kyle Busch holds the record, winning in 19 straight seasons.
The drivers head to the Brickyard at Indianapolis Motor Speedway this Sunday afternoon.
