Two people were taken to the hospital after a crash last night on I-79 in Jackson Township.
The accident happened just before midnight at the Little Creek Road southbound on-ramp.
Details are unclear, but there were multiple vehicles involved in the crash, including a motorcycle. Although dispatchers say one of the cars involved may have fled the accident.
Crews arrived on scene and found a woman inside a car, bleeding from her head. A man on a motorcycle was also lying on the ground.
An ambulance took the woman to UPMC Passavant and a medical helicopter flew another person to a Pittsburgh hospital.
Traffic was impacted for about an hour-and-a-half.
