Another round of opioid settlement funding is being distributed by Butler County.
The county is setting aside nearly $750,000 of settlement funding for six different initiatives.
- BC3’s Hope is Dope program
- Center for Community Resources Drug Treatment Court Case Management and Housing and Reintegration program
- Collective Health Consulting’s Opioid Overdose Coalition Consulting
- The Recovery Center on Center Avenue
- LIFE Medication Assisted Treatment Support Program
The county selects these initiatives in consultation with a committee that oversees how the opioid settlement money is spent.
So far, county officials say they’ve received $5.7 million. They’re expected to continue to receive settlement payments for an estimated 15 years.
