Local residents are invited to get their fix of all things Italian at an event in the City of Butler this weekend.
The 2nd annual locally organized Butler Italian Days kicks off tomorrow from 5 to 10 p.m. before continuing Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The Sons and Daughters of Italy Butler Lodge will present a celebration of Italian heritage along with a cultural food fest, live music, a variety of vendors, and other family-friendly entertainment like Bocce and Bingo.
Parking restrictions include no parking on East Diamond from noon Friday until 10 p.m. Saturday. Other restrictions include no parking from Wayne to Cunningham Friday at noon until 11 p.m. as well as Main Street closes 3 to 11 p.m. from Wayne to Cunningham. Then on Saturday, there is no parking from Wayne to Cunningham from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. along with Main Street closure from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Normal detours will be in place around the festival with southbound traffic detoured at Jefferson and northbound traffic detoured at Wayne.
