The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is beginning early fall road project maintenance work around Butler County this week.
These activities include patching on Mercer Road in Butler Township and Route 422 in Muddy Creek Township, while pipe repair is planned for Silverville Road in Buffalo Township.
Mill and fill will take place on Oneida Valley Road in Oakland, Concord, Washington, Venango, and Center Townships with crack sealing planned for Route 8 in Slippery Rock and Mercer Townships as well as Interstate 79 in Worth and Muddy Creek Townships.
Mowing is planned for Evans City Road in Jackson Township, Prospect Road in Forward Township, and Glade Mill Road in Middlesex Township.
