A Karns City man is facing new charges for attempting to intimidate a victim after he was accused of firing his gun outside of his Fairview Township home last year.
On Thursday, the victim reported to police that 61-year-old Michael Freedline has screamed profanities at the victim and threw screws at the tires of the victim’s truck.
The victim believed these actions are in retaliation for reporting a shooting alleged to be committed by Freedline back in December.
Freedline has been charged with retaliation against a witness or victim, intimidation, and disorderly conduct in this new case.
Freedline was denied bail after a magistrate judge ruled no conditions can assure safety or appearance at future hearings.
A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for October 20.
