The Butler County Community College women’s volleyball team posted a pair of sweeps over the weekend after climbing into the nation’s top-10. The Lady Pioneers swept both Harrisburg Area Community College and Lorain County Community College Saturday at the BC3 Fieldhouse. The scores against Harrisburg were 25-23, 25-15 and 25-11. The scores from the Lorain sweep were 25-15, 25-14 and 29-27. BC3 improved to 7-0 overall and have six sweeps so far. After beginning the season ranked 10th in Division III of the National Junior College Athletic Association, the Lady Pioneers moved up to #7 in the latest release.
It is the third consecutive season BC3 has started a season 7-0. Last season the Lady Pioneers went 25-2 and made their fourth appearance in the Division III.
They visit Penn State-DuBois tonight at 6pm.
