Joe Gibbs Racing swept the first three races of the Nascar Cup Series post-season when Christopher Bell took the checkered flag Saturday night at Bristol Motor Speedway. It was his fourth race win of the year, fifth if you count the exhibition “All-Star” race. Brad Keselowski was the runner-up.
Bell joined teammates Chase Briscoe and Denny Hamlin in moving on to the round of 12 playoff drivers as they head to New Hampshire this Sunday.
The four drivers eliminated from post-season contention were: Alex Bowman, Shane Van Gisbergen, Austin Dillon and Josh Berry.
